Minor Deal, Bruins Swap Goalies

As the Bruins have Tuukka Rask to carry most of the workload, backup goalie Justin Peters was movable. He became attractive to certain GM's since he was playoff eligible and is still fairly young. Since the Bruins also needed to add a body to not be below the league minimum, a deal was quickly agreed on with the Edmonton Oilers. The Bruins sent Peters to Edmonton in return for goalie Thomas Greiss and energy forward Dan Carcillo.

We're happy to add Greiss who should do well in limited action this season. He's basically the same age as Peters and has got the quality to work well in a backup role behind Rask. Adding Carcillo was a bonus since we needed the extra body. He probably won't have a regular roster spot on the team, but can step in if needed.
