Entry Draft - Bruins Draft Two

The Bruins tried to be active with their two 2nd round draft picks in this years entry draft. A lot of offers were on the table as the club looked into the possibility of moving the two late 2nd round picks. Eventually the club decided to keep the picks and draft two young, solid players. Even though the two won't have much impact on the team right away, management is pleased to welcome it's latest members.

Rumor is that there is interest in the two players and that offers have been made, which would mean that one or both could make their debuts on other teams. This remains to be seen and for now we are very happy to introduce Dwight King and Jim O'Brien.

There is a sense around the club that King could be a steal with such a late pick. The big winger has shown that he can deliver on the big stage as he has good work ethic as well as offensive skills around the net. O'Brien has the better defensive skills that could see him get more chances in his first season with the club. All in all, we feel the draft was a success.
